INSULATED FLOATING POOL COVERS —
Save 60-70% of your heating costs by using
an insulated floating pool cover. Reduces water
evaporation, chemical loss, energy costs,
and will help keep your pool cleaner. Insulating
pool covers are designed to help your pool
retain heat, unlike other covers. Payback on
most covers is less than one year, making this
one of the most cost-efficient investments you
can make. Each pool cover is custom designed
and fitted to your pool dimensions.
The grades of material are determined by the
thread count in the polyethylene fabric. The
deluxe material uses 12 x 12 count per square
inch, while the standard material uses 10 x
10 count per square inch. The 12 x 12 material
is stronger with a bursting strength of 762
psi and is more resistant to abrasion. The 10
x 10 material has a bursting strength of 531
psi.
There are two options for the edging of either
style of pool blanket. 12 x 12 hemmed edges
are used for indoor pools or outdoor pools
that use only one panel. 12 x 12 weighted
edges are used on outdoor pools to help prevent
wind lift. The weighted edge is constructed
of four layers of 12 x 12 material
wrapped around a weighted, impregnated
vinyl strip. Both blanket materials feature two
woven high density UV-stabilized polyethylene
sides of 1⁄8" thick closed-cell, 2 lb. density
foam. Double lock-stitched construction.
5 year (pro-rata) warranty on 12 x 12 cover
and 3 year warranty on 10 x 10 cover. Pricing
based on total square footage.
